Funding decisions in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) are made on the basis of proposals submitted following calls published by the Commission. Proposals describe planned research activities, information on who will carry them out, and how much they will cost. They must be submitted using a special web-based service before a strictly-enforced deadline. When accessing the relevant link, you should refer to the following documents:
The work programme which provides you with a detailed description of the objectives and topics which are open for proposals, and the wider context of research activities in this area. Work programmes are revised each year, so make sure you refer to the latest version before preparing your proposal.
Guide for Applicants which contains the essential information to guide you through the mechanics of preparing and submitting a proposal. It is important that you have the correct document! Not only are there different Guides for different calls, there may also be different Guides for other funding schemes within the same call.
